This girl is just super gorgeous, this is JADE a beautiful purebred grey ghost Weimaraner Jade is a big girl a little overweight but we have been working on that aspect, she is 6 yrs old, and has beautiful Weimy features She is blessed with stunning good looks, and a smile that will light up any room.
JADES Story )))) Where to begin with this one. Jade is absolutely adorable, but this girl has had a very rough deal, This is Jades second time in rescue, it could even be a third time. From the paperwork we have to hand 2 yrs ago Jade was in rescue a rescue that is no longer operational, they originally brought Jade into rescue she was an abused girl. The rescue then adopted her to the owner that surrendered her to us.In the 2 years she was with her new owner Jade was very well looked after and she obviously thought this was her forever home. NOT SO In July Jades daddy took his own life and Jade was sitting by his side in the yard when he was found. Jades family struggling with grief, and having to work very long hours leaving Jade alone were distressed that they could not find the time to be with her, and give her what she needed, Jade became a couch potato and with no exercise her weight increased. They realized that Jade needed so much more she was depressed and anxious. Jades family reached out to us at Lifeline and as heartbreaking as it was Jade came back into rescue, Jade was scared, timid and panted out of fear at being put in another strange situation where nothing was familiar to her.Jades first few days were heartbreaking for her foster mom, and we came to realize that Jade would be with us for a long time. Well we were wrong Jade has surprised us all today she is a happy girl with her foster mom, we introduced her to a life that had bypassed her for so long, she has enjoyed long walks and dances when she sees her leash, she no longer cowers or hides when you walk by her, she has been on a diet and lost some of the weight, she is active and playful she loves rolling in the grass and having tummy rubs, We are so proud of this girl.We are now searching for a wonderful forever home for Jade. A home that will give her the stability love and security she needs Jade will warm to you and just melt your heart. Like most Weimies she loves to be around humans and will follow you around, Jade is a calm girl she is not a high maintenance Weim, Jade is a princess she thrives on attention and sometimes she dosent want to share it. Jade is fostered with a male dog and she enjoys having him around so I would say a home with a male dog would work better than another female. Of course she would also be fine as an only dog with lots of family interaction. Like most Weimaraners Jade loves car rides and she is excellent in the car. Jade does not like the crate but she is fine in the home. So we would request that her new family would not crate her. She is super loving and playful. At night time she will sleep on a sofa or a bed however she is a Weimy and just loves to sleep and cuddle up to you on your bed a typical Weimy Velcro girl. Jade is housebroken, and she will come when called. Jade is at her happiest around humans, its so hard not to fall in love with this girl. And its very difficult to find anything negative to say about her apart from the fact she will probably need a little patience and lots of love during her new family transition period. Jade is Spayed and current on all vaccinations. she is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Jade a wonderful forever home where she can have stability and security in her life. We are looking for a forever home that can cherish her and give her the love and attention she needs, A family that is really stable and can give her that forever home that means forever we don't ever want to see this girl back needing rescue. Jade is lovable, and she is good with children. A family that is relatively calm and have a quiet lifestyle would be perfect Jade will blossom with the right interaction. A home with a fenced in yard or acreage where she can run and play is required. she would make a wonderful companion for an older family. She is calm so the chaos of young children may not be ideal. I can see Jade as a typical daddies girl she likes the men in her life. She is a little shy at first with strangers but she does warm up quickly.There are no cats in Jades foster home but we feel that we should search for a cat free home she is a weimy and will chase squirrels. Could you be the one to open up your heart and home, and make Jades`s life complete again if so you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure.
