I am a good dog at heart and have one major dream in life, to find a home that loves me for who I am. I am only 4-years-old, but have had some anxiety as long as I can remember. So, I need a patient, loving family that is willing to work with me. Keep me safe and calm. I'm most anxious when my family is gone, and I am working on being calm while in a crate. I have made progress. I am a good learner and a fast one, I try very hard, but I still need patience from my people.
I get along with other dogs, but the laid back ones are good for me because they help keep me calm. And I love a cat that wants a canine friend! You will appreciate that I am easily corrected, I'm really very soft in nature, and I don't like being in trouble. I am pretty good on leash, but may need to be reminded not to pull when I'm excited. I love being outside, and would love a jogging partner!
Older children would make great friend for me, or even just an adult home. Younger humans scare me a bit, but I do very well with adults that know how to give me boundaries and rules and make me stick to them. I love treats, so training me would be a snap with some patience and having those “good dog rulesâ€%9D to follow will help me be a great part of your family.
Just wait until you get to know me, I'm a real character... I'm always doing something new and goofy! You may occasionally find me sleeping in the laundry basket or maybe cuddling with the cat! But if you let me cuddle with you I will be the happiest boy ever!
