My name is Murphy. I am a black n white, 5 to 6 year old, female English Cocker Spaniel. I could
be mixed with a bit of Springer, but I am pretty close to a pure spaniel, so no telling for sure. I was found as a stray by a very nice man around Thanksgiving time, as I was just wandering around and no one was looking for me. He tried to find my owner and then he turned me over to animal control, but still no owner came to get me. Then I got lucky and came to rescue.

I am heartworm negative, and a very nice, sweet, friendly girl. I am dog social, I like most people and I like to smile a lot too. These folks didn't know if I was spayed, but they have now found out that I am, so I am here waiting to find my perfect forever home. It would be a dream come true, if I could find my new loving home in time to spend a great Christmas with you.
