Happy Boy turned up at an outdoor cat colony recently... but he's far from feral! The photos don't do him justice, but it's hard to get a good picture of a cat when he's usually rubbing his muzzle against your face. Happy Boy is...happy. He's neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. He is a lap cat to the point that, when you get up, he gets indignant. He would do well in a home with folks who can pay attention (that is, worship) him. No small children, though, b/c his days outside have left him scared of loud noises, sudden movements, etc. He has his claws and wants to keep them. (He does let me clip them.) He would be better as an only cat (no dogs - small ones, he would eat; large ones, he would fear) b/c he has "stray cat appetite" where he will eat as much as you give him. I'm sure he would gobble the food of other cats. So his food intake will have to be controlled. He is a perfect gentleman in the litter box, but he needs a big box b/c he's a big boy. He's young - maybe a year or two at the most. He would make such a wonderful pet for the right person.
