Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dobby is a handsome two year old lab mix who was adopted from us as a puppy but brought back when he showed defensive behavior towards visiting children in the house. He is a good boy with a lot to offer but became protective of his people. He gets along well with most other dogs but can be rather intense at first. Because of this, a larger doggy roommate would probably do best if you're interested in adopting and currently have a dog in your home. Dobby is very loving and loyal, and bonds quickly with people who show him kindness. He needs that special someone who will take the time to create a bond and build a trusting relationship. Because of his issues in his previous home, Dobby's new home will have to be free of children who are younger than 16. He is housetrained and has good house manners, so given a little time to adjust, he should transition well into his new home. Ask an adoption counselor for more information on this loveable guy!
