2/25/08: Precious has been attending basic obedience training for the past few weeks. She is a very fast learner! A behavioral consultant happened to be in the class (a doggy consultant of sorts) and she had this to say about Precious: "Precious has tons of potential. She is smart and wants desperately to please. Sadly, up to now, no one has taken the time to help her learn what is expected of her. A loving owner, willing to give her lots of feedback so she knows what you want, will make a world of difference for Precious because, in the right hands, Precious will blossom into a great dog. The right owner will need to give her lots of rewards for good behavior and gentle understanding if it is necessary to correct a behavior." Precious has been spayed; is up-to-date on shots; and is heartworm negative :)
1/28/08 UPDATE - Precious Gal has started obedience training classes with her foster family. What a good girl!
1/18/08 UPDATE - Precious is a lucky gal! She has found a temporary foster home with Meghan (also from the shelter) and she plays well with her and the family's Swiss Mountain Dog. She's a playful gal who loves affection from people. Please consider being her forever family.

Update 11/19/07: Precious is actually a very playful young girl. She loves to play tug-of-war and enjoys being outside. She would truly make a wonderful family pet with a little training.
10/20/07: This gorgeous gal's name is Precious and she was surrendered by her owner. Have you ever seen such beautiful eyes? She appears extremely smart and alert. She will need basic obedience training as most dogs do (especially since she is large). Please give her a chance at a real life- she will make such a wonderful and loyal companion.
