My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a courtesy listing. CHEW Dog Rescue has not met this dog; you'll need to do your own evaluation. Please contact Sarah at sarahbolante11@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting Dora.
Dora is around 2 years old and weighs 46 lbs. She appears to be a Pit Bull mix, maybe with some English Pointer in the mix.
This is what Sarah, her foster mom, says about Dora: Dora was found wondering the streets of Bremerton, when two wonderful women took her in. That home turned out to be short lived because of apartment pet rules, and Dora ended up in foster care where she's currently living. She longs for a day when she has a forever home to call her own. And if there was ever a dog that deserved it, Dora is the one. Mild mannered, she is great with children and never jumps up on them or plays rough. Although she needs some training in basic commands like sit, she comes when called and she seems to be housebroken. She even walks well on a leash.
The foster home she's living with has two other dogs in it, and she has done amazing with both the older female dog and the hyper male puppy who won't stop barking at her. She takes it all in stride! She even met a little cat the other day and kept her cool demeanor, not bothering it once.
If you're looking for a dog to follow you around the house, snuggle with you on the couch, and be your best friend, look no further. Dora even snuggles under the covers with you at night in bed.
