Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Red is losing her home because her parents are moving and cannot take her with them. She knows something is going on that affects her and is very sad. She was a shelter rescue and has been in her home for over a year now and can sense the possiblility of becoming homeless again. Red was in a local high kill shelter with her 2 small puppies and was abandoned there by her previous owner. We learned that after her puppies were adopted the shelter intended to euthanize her so we rescued her and the puppies. Her puppies were adopted right away and Red's foster mom decided to adopt her but now cannot keep her any longer. She is a lover and a lap dog, loves attention and is always willing to please. She gets along well with other dogs, cats and even horses! She would be best in a home without small children as they make her a little nervous although she has never bitten anyone. She is approximately 2 years old and small weighing only around 20 pounds. Red is very sweet and loving, she likes to be held in your arms and hugged!
