My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calling all poodle lovers! Come meet Barney! Barney is a four year old, 15 pound, neutered, poodle. He ended up in county shelter after getting lost and was never found. We were happy to save him and give him a second chance in a safe environment. Barney is a well behaved young man. Other then meeting a groomer when we picked him up he came to us in very good health. Barney seems to get along with other pets and has liked every person he has met so far. There is no doubt that Barney would do well in many types of homes. He is no longer a puppy and would not mind a quiet household with the right amount of attention on him. He is also no stranger to play time when he is encouraged. Come meet this awesome dog today!
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.

All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org

Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.

The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
