Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dottie and her sister came into our rescue as scared little 2 month old girls. They were rescued from Columbus County Animal Control before they were to be put down. Although the foster family was wonderful with the two girls they were still very scared of lots of things. We don't know what happened to them prior to our rescue taking them in, but they are very sweet girls. The foster family fell in love with both girls, but decided to keep Dottie's sister. Dottie was adopted when she was four months old and has now come back to be with us. Dottie's family is unsure how to work with her to become a happy and secure adult dog. She will stay with us for a bit and we will work with her and take her places and introduce her to new things so she can learn that there is nothing to be afraid of. She is a very loving dog and has adjusted well into the foster pack. She loves to play with the other dogs and shares her things very nicely. She is a beautiful sweet dog that will make someone a wonderul companion. We think she would do well in a laid back home without a lot of noise or excitement. She loves to go for walks and we are teaching her that everything is not as scary as she thinks it is. She is house trained, crate trained and up to date on all her shots and on heartworm prevention.
