Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Roscoe. I am a 4 year old, black n white, parti colored cocker boy. I was surrendered
to a NC shelter with my brother, Cletus and some other animals, when the husband of a breeder could no longer care for us after his wife had died. The shelter was very small and asked for rescue help.
I am heartworm negative and I am now neutered. I am a sweet cocker, a nice boy and ready for love and a great life. I did have a hard time with unknown noises, loud sounds and being in new places stressed me out, but I'm doing much better now than when I arrived to rescue. I will need patience and understanding as I learn about things and time to adjust to a new environment. I will do best in an adult only home, but not with an elderly couple. Or, I can be adopted to a family with children over the age of 10 as long as they understand that I do not do well with quick movements or loud sounds. I did need help with leash walking too, but now I'm doing a lot better with it, thanks to these nice folks. Please give me the loving home that I deserve. I am a real sweet boy, I like attention and I need love. I just need help with a few things so that I can become a great companion, a wonderful best friend and someone to share your life with.
