Lily's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Lily's Story...
Meet Lily. She's around 2-3 years old and weighs around 11 pounds. She is current with vaccinations and scheduled for spay. We believe Lily is a poodle / schnauzer mix. She is housebroken and does okay in a kennel - she's not real fond of it, but she's learning. Lily loves people but is a little dominant so we feel she'd be best in a home without small children. Lily is happy, sweet, curious and playful. She loves to be held and loves to snuggle in your lap. Are you looking for a little snuggle bug?

Rehome Fee: $100.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Baton Rouge Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
