Here's what the humans have to say about me:
January 15, 2014, Shadow was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. Shadow is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison. If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.
Handsome Shadow here! He's a gorgeous black and white one year old boxer mix that was surrendered to Friendship because his family didn't have enough time for him. He's a big strong boy that will need an experienced owner. Shadow is very friendly but because of his strength it's best if the kids in the family are older. Shadow does not like cats. He's good with dogs but plays rough with them. Training will help with this. He's a big boy that thinks he's a lap dog. Shadow will be one terrific pooch upon his return.
