My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

January 15, 2014, Roxy was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. She is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. Roxy is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. She will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison. If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.

Roxy is a friendly 5 year old shepherd mix. She's a sweetie pie that was sent for additional training to brush up on her skills and learn to get along better with other dogs. It's not known if Roxy likes cats or not. Older kids are fine. Roxy has manners and is house trained. She's an affectionate gal that longs to be part of a family. Roxy has won the hearts of the staff and volunteers at Friendship. She is a great dog that will be even better when she returns.
