Sammy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Sammy's Story...
Sammy is a 3yr old purebred dudley lab. He is a big moose of a boy, not fat, probably around 90-100lbs. He is super sweet and loves everyone. His world has been turned upside down lately when his family gave him up because they were moving. Well then the next family gave him up only a couple days later because he ran away from them and then the next couple gave him up for the same, he really needs a stable home where someone will be patient with him while he understands he is loved again. He loves everyone, is great with kids and dogs, cats unknown. Not recommended for a high traffic area as he will try and push out the door when you go out, so you have to be careful. We think he just needs time. He is neutered, up to date on shots, rabies, and heartworm.

Sammy's adoption fee is $200. He is fostered with Lori in Tampa with her 2 big male dogs and little female. Contact if you're interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Largo Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Largo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
