cisco's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

cisco's Story...
Donatello is a 2-4 year old male mini dachshund. He will need a very very very patient person. He was used as a breeder dog and still has his tatoo number on his tummy. He is very unsure of human touch but will not bite. He is socialized with other small dogs and does well but does not need to be around larger ones as they scare him. He is just now learning to accept human kindness but does not understand it. He is neutered current on all shots blood work negative and heart worm negative and on prevention and microchipped. Adopter will need to understand he will not be a cuddly doxie for quite some time if ever but he is just adorable and so deserves a special home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

cisco, a Lubbock Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Lubbock, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Lubbock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lubbock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lubbock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lubbock paves the way for another one to be saved.
