Potter the Bassapoo's Story...
Potter is a Bassapoo: a basset/hound poodle mix. he is approx 18 months and 32 lbs, he is a very sweet and playful dog, gets on great with all of the other rescues and likes to be in the middle of the action,he is fairly active and would need a yard to play in.. he is a very curious dog and loves to eat. he is always there when you open the refrigerator door looking for a handout,he is not hypo allergenic being a mixed breed and would not be good for allergies, he seems to be pretty well leash and house trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Potter the Bassapoo, a Norwalk Poodle (Standard)/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Standard)/Basset Hound for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Poodle (Standard)/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Standard)/Basset Hound breeders who help with Poodle (Standard)/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
