My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Billy is a total charmer: sweet, goofy, loves to snuggle, and make you happy. While he does have puppy energy he is not a spazzy guy. He is potty trained and knows sit, down, shake, and stay. Billy also waits politely while you put his food down. He plays well with his canine foster dog brother and is attending puppy classes. Billy loves to play fetch, thoroughly enjoys his walks, and is very curious about everything.

Little Billy has been through a lot in his short life. He came to the shelter severely malnourished with pressure marks on his back end suggesting a life spent mostly in a crate. He also had ringworm, an infectious skin fungus that required three baths a week for a month, then additional baths every week for another 6 weeks. He patiently endured them all like a champ. Billy is one of the most special foster dogs his foster parents have ever had the privilege of caring for and want only the best for his future, including a forever family that will continue his learning and socialization. A home with older children, or no children, would be best. Billy can be a bit over enthusiastic greeting you at times, but manners classes will help with that...

Location: Milwaukee, WI
Adoption Fee: $250

All of our dogs are from the Milwaukee, WI area. We have no shelter but rather all our dogs are in foster care in private homes.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think what is more important is to get to know each dog as an individual and then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personality in order to determine if they will make a good companion based on your lifestyle. We dot like a dog to be "labeled". Dog behavior is not a breed thing exclusively. It is a complex mix of nature and nurture.

All Adoption Fees Include:

Veterinarian Examination and Health Report
Certificate of Veterinarian Inspection
Heartworm Test (if age appropriate)
Heartworm Prevention
Distemper Combo Vaccination
Bordatella Intranasal Vaccination
Rabies Vaccination (3 months and older)
Spaying/Neutering
Worming
Microchip
Complimentary Collar
$10 off Classes with Behaviorworks
Lifetime of Support from Canine Cupids
The love and companionship of a new best friend!
