My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper: 2 months old, red male. 3 lbs., 4 oz., 6" long. Docked tail, natural ears. Our first born! Lovable, adorable and affectionate Cooper was born into rescue on October 7, 2013. He is the biggest of the litter and will certainly grow up to be a very handsome boy! Cooper's playful and affectionate personality became obvious early on. In the morning, he is the first of the pack to rush to your side and say, "GOOD MORNING," with a bounce and tail wagging so fast you think he's about to take flight. His puppy power is infectious as you can watch him go from 0 to 60 and right back to 0 in the blink of an eye. Although he's the biggest and oldest, he is very mild mannered for his age and craves the comfort of his pack and his human companions. Cooper will follow you from room-to-room if you let him and he loves to ep up in your arms. This young boy wants to please! He has already trained himself to use the doggie door and is doing a great job at potty training (an ongoing process). He's still learning the crate as his little legs just want to carry him all over the house! Cooper's life started out well for him; he's suffered no trauma and has no sad story to tell. He is a healthy, happy young puppy who just loves to soak in every moment of life. He is still exploring his world with every waking moment and provides hours of entertainment as he grows into his paws. He runs, jumps and plays with all the enthusiasm of an Olympic athlete. At this young age, he cherishes the love, companionship and playfulness of all who surround him. Cooper will make the perfect family addition for anyone who has the energy, patience and discipline to help him grow into adulthood. As all puppies go, he's still our tiny and fragile Mini Cooper. Therefore, he will do best in a home with adults and older children but young children may not fully understand the gentle care that a puppy needs. He clearly does well around other puppies and adult dogs but is very affectionate and playful so any new four-legged companions would need to be patient with him as he learns his new world.

Cooper's first round of shots (1 of 3) are complete and 2nd-3rd rounds are scheduled. He will be neutered at/around 15 weeks of age (approximately the end of January, 2014). Once he has been neutered, he'll be ready for his forever home. Will you be the one to call him your own?
