Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Black Velvet, a very sweet terrier mix who is about one year old, weighing just under 20 pounds. He came to us along with his friend Blue (we kid you not) from a shelter in Kentucky. From what we've seen, both dogs are true Southern gentlemen! Although Black V. is a relatively new arrival, we can tell you he is very sweet.

His foster mom has the following to say about him: Black Velvet (who we call Radar for his huge ears!) Is a fun loving, happy-go-lucky boy. He gets along really well with the numerous cats and dogs he is currently sharing a house with. Toys, toys, toys are his favorite! He's even playing with frozen tennis balls in the snow. Enjoys his walks in the neighborhood and snuggles on the couch. He is an all-around fun and happy little dog to have around!!

Black Velvet's adoption fee of $300 includes: vet exam, heartworm test, flea preventative, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination, microchip, deworming and neuter.
