My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. I'm Millie. I came from a shelter in Indiana with my sister Misty. We are happy that the nice people from Chicagoland Dog Rescue took us in because we would have been put to sleep if a rescue didn't take us. We are glad that didn't happen because now we are having fun in a foster home. Our hope is to start the new year in our forever home.

The people at the shelter called us "the twins", but we sure don't look like twins. I am the bigger one at 21.2 pounds. I am black with brindle markings on my head and legs. Very pretty if I do say so myself. We are alike in some ways. We both love attention and sitting on our foster mom's lap. She says pretty soon we will be too big to be lap dogs, so we are taking advantage of it while we can. We also like to run around and play in the yard. We are working on our housebreaking, but are not fully trained yet. We need to learn some skills so we can be good family members and CDR has classes to help with that.

Come see us at adoptions to see if one of us will fit into your family.
