My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please note that this is a courtesy post to assist the family find a right home for their dog. Rescue Without Borders has not evaluated this dog and hence all inquires will be directed to her current owners.

Ja bi is a spayed two year old Korean Jindo. Jindos are a rare and ancient Asian hunting dog.
She is only 35 pounds but is very strong and agile. Her capabilities can't be underestimated. Experienced dog owner a must. Please do sufficient research on this breed if you plan to apply to adopt her. A Jindo is not a breed for just any household as they need loving but consistently strong leadership.

Ja bi is well trained and knows basic commands. She enjoys the out doors and rides great in the car. She is spotlessly clean and easy to groom. She is trustworthy and obedient on leash. She is used to having a fenced yard so that is a requirement.
Ja bi is very good with people she knows. She is suspicious of strangers and takes time to warm up. She is a dog for adults not a child's pet.
She can be very playful at times with her own family. In all ways she is typical of a Jindo. They are extremely faithful and bond strongly to their people so lots of time should be given by any prospective adopter to make time for Ja bi to adjust to her new home.

She is being given up for adoption because she lives in a multi dog house which is too much for her solitary nature. The challenges with her that are most important are that she is not good with other dogs and must be in a strictly single pet household. She has a high prey drive so she isn't good with cats she doesn't know, although she does live with two cats.

She has no known health issues; is up to date on all vaccination, spayed and has been on heart worm preventive. She currently eats a raw diet but her prospective family can discuss other options if they are appose to feeding her raw meat.

Ja bi is available in adoption in Munnsville, NY. An Adoption fees of $200 is requested to ensure she goes to a good home. Please email Rescuewithoutborders@gmail.com if you are interested in Ja bi.
