My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marshall’s Foster Mom says what she likes most about him is “He is a big sweetheart. He just wants to be with you and please everybody. He still has a bit of puppy in him, so he can be mischievous but he is very eager to learn. He met our nephews, ages four and seven and did well with them. He just wanted to play with them and was gentle. I think he must have been around kids before.”

Marshall is a 1.5 year old Labrador mix with a beautiful, short tan coat. At 55 pounds, he is the perfect size. Marshall is potty trained, neutered, chipped and up to date with vaccinations. He is smart and wants to continue learning.

Marshall loves to go for walks and walks well with a Gentle Leader/Halti collar. He knows the sit, stay and lay commands. Marshall loves to retrieve balls, play with toys and engage in tug-of-war. He likes to play with other dogs. When play time is over, he is ready to cuddle and hang out.

While waiting for his forever home, Marshall likes hanging out with his foster family inside and playing in the yard. He is content to stay in his crate when no one is home thinking about all the fun and kisses to come.

Marshall would do best in a home with an enclosed yard where he can romp and play and with an active family who will make him part of their life forever. He prefers a home without cats because he likes to chase them. He has so much gentle love to give.

This sweetie was abandoned and yet he has such a wonderful demeanor and is a happy dude. He has a smile for all he meets and he has puppy features. He is a healthy wonderful boy who would love a compassionate person or family who will keep him safe and never abandon him again. Are you ready to give a second chance to a dog who really deserves it? Then Marshall is your guy!
