TARA's Story...
This is TARA. She was thrown over a fence of business property in the Tampa area off a busy street. We can never really determine the breed of these throw away babies but would say she has Pit Bull Terrier and maybe some boxer in her genes. Sometimes her coat looks gray and then at times brown, depends on the way the lighting hits her. She is a small build little girl, maybe about 40 pounds and is very sweet. Guessing at her age, we think about 2-1/2 years old. She has not shown any aggression, has been very friendly with our volunteers and would love to have her own family.
If you think this sweetie could be for you, please complete the adoption application at www.earsrescue,org. Her adoption fee is $200.00. She is current on vaccines, micro chipped and spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TARA, a Odessa Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Odessa, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
