Rainey's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rainey's Story...
Rainey is a 13-year old Domestic Longhair. We found her abandoned at County, a stressful place for such a gentle kitty.

She was very thin when we met her and probably has seen some hard times. Rainey enjoys being held and getting affection. She's also as quiet as a mouse and tends to keep to herself.

Rainey is FIV/FELV-negative and healthy, and she has been able to gain a couple of pounds since her arrival. She doesn't mind the dogs or other cats, but she would prefer not to live with small children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rainey, a Gilbert Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
