Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sandy is a beautiful, confident, little foster girl who is looking for her forever home. We'd very much like to help her find it, because it just seems so very important to her to have a place of her own and she knows you are out there hunting for her. She doesn't want you to worry because she's right here being a very good girl and learning quickly and well all the things necessary to be your very own spoiled little princess.
"Confidence" is what we are calling her goal of having things just the way she would like them. Sandy was at one time considered part of a bonded pair. After having spent several months with her now we are able to safely say she would do just fine and dandy on her own and in fact seems to love the one on one interaction with her humans.
Sandy is very affectionate and generous with her wet and lovey kisses, enjoys play time with chew toys and has tons of energy that cause her to really really enjoy her walks. She is quite a sensitive little thing, and delights in knowing she is pleasing her people.
Regarding other dogs, she holds her own and is surrounded by foster Bassets currently, however we believe that she would be best suited in a home where she could be free to be the Queen Bee. Please let her hear from you if you think you are the home for her.
