Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, everypuppy! My name is Luke, but some people call me Lukey. I would love to find a nice home to live out the rest of my life. I am a little over 9 years old in human years. I am still pretty energetic and love to play a lot! I would love to have a home with someone that would spend a lot of time with me and a nice big fenced yard where I can play. I try to be the best doggy ever, but sometimes, I just gotta have some fun. Ok, I will let my foster dad talk now. I need a nap. Hoping to meet my new human soon!!
Luke is a wonderful dog. He is very kind and well mannered. He is part Sheba Inu and maybe some Yellow Lab. He is a senior dog, but is still very energetic. He loves to walk and we are working on his leash walking skills. He LOVES to ride in the car! He is very well behaved in the car, also! He does well with other dogs, and tries to ignore cats. He loves his humans but he does NOT like small children. He can be snippy with them, so if you have children, he is not the doggy for you. If you are someone that is around the house a lot and loves having your doggy friend to go with you, and you have no small children, then he would be perfect! He doesn't mess in the house or get into things he is not supposed to. Someone has worked long and hard to train this furkid. Even though he is a senior, he has some very good years left on this earth! We seniors (human or k9) need lovin’ too!
Luke’s adoption fee is $125. Adopters must live within 150 miles or a 3 hour drive of the Quad City area.
For more information about Luke, email debbie@k9kindnessrescue.org or fill out the online adoption application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org.
Luke and K9 Kindness Rescue thank you for considering adoption through rescue for a new family companion!
