Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little sweetie is Truffle, a baby girl mixed breed, arriving Christmas week at about 7 weeks old and 5.25 pounds. Although she is a new arrival, we can tell you she is very sweet and friendly, and loves to show off how adorable and animated she is.

Although she has some of the color markings of a shepherd, Truffle looks a lot like her mom (see Strudel, terrier mix) who weighs 20 pounds. We don't know anything about the dad, or how big Truffle will be when fully grown. Since she's so young, Truffle needs a family with a stay-at-home person to begin her potty-training and obedience training, as well as keep her exercised and socialized.

You can meet this little girl at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 www.wilmettepetcenter.com). Although you may want to adopt her on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.

We estimate Truffle's date of birth to be 11/4/13 and her adoption fee of $350 includes: vet exam, flea preventative, DAPP (distemper-parvo combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, microchip, deworming and spay.
