Sweet Pea's Story...
Sweet Pea is a very nice mannered girl who is house and leash trained. She has been an inside dog all her life, which is about 3 years. For some reason unknown to this rescue; her owner decided to give her up. Right now, Sweet Pea is a bit timid especailly when confronted with a lot of noise and bustle; but being such a smart girl, she adapts to her surroundings when she realizes she is safe. She is an "easy to keep" girl and is very sweet and affectionate according to her foster parents! She is looking for a new home and family where she can feel safe and give all the love and devotion she has to a family that won't let her down. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Pea, a Washington Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Washington, or seeking a Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
