Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Petey! In short, he's awesome, not only for a Boston Terrier, but for a dog in general!
The longer version is: Petey is 4-5 years old, neutered and up to date on all shots. He is very healthy but does have Dry Eye (KCS) in his right eye which is treatable with daily drops he'll need always. His vision is fine! He weighs 29 lbs and the doctor says he needs to lose 5 lbs :) Petey's teeth are good, his coat is soft and shiny, and he's a HUNK!
Petey is playful, terrific with people and other dogs. He's cuddly and affection, shows no resource guarding with food or toys, and likes to play tug! When he gets really ramped up he does try to hump his playmates but otherwise he's pretty much the friendliest, coolest pup around. Petey is also good in the car and learning to walk even better on leash. He so enjoys going hiking and being athletic! Petey would be good as a 2nd or even 3rd dog, but could be your one and only as long as you have time to play and exercise daily. He does enjoy the company of other pooches though. Petey is also great with kids, and we think he's okay with cats too because he shows very little prey drive and ignores squirrels and birds.
Petey is crate trained and house trained, and sadly was owner surrendered at the shelter after 4 years with a family. They said they had no time for him. His foster mama loves him and has gotten him used to home life! She wants to see Petey get a most wonderful and loving family!
