Pixie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Pixie's Story...
Pixie is our two year old yorkie. We feel she is a purebred. Pixie loves any other dogs she has ever met, big or small. She even thinks the cats are "cool", too! Pixie is determined to just be someones companion. She loves nothing better than being in your arms or on your lap! Not the needy type but just LOVES. Pixie was rescued from a high kill shelter in TN. When you got her we took her straight to the groomer. She was very matted so they did a close trim. She needs a coat. We snuggled up this morning while taking the pictures. Pixie snuggled her head right on my shoulder while we were waiting our turn. Pixie is house trained.......

Pixie's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination and certificate of health.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a Stamford Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless for sale in Stamford, or seeking a Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless dog from a breeder in Stamford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stamford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stamford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless breeders who help with Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stamford paves the way for another one to be saved.
