Gertie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Gertie's Story...
Gertie is a 7-8 year old poodle who is mostly, if not all, blind. She doesn't let that stop her though, and Gertie is as sweet and fun-loving as they come! She gets around quite easily and just loves to snuggle. She's extremely affectionate and will need a stable house where she can adjust to her surroundings and make herself at home. Gertie is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting Gertie, please go to www.familyadditiondogrescue.org and fill out an adoption form. Adoption fee for Gertie is $250 and includes two in-home training sessions with our certified dog trainer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gertie, a Charlotte Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
