Quincy's Story...
I am a year and a half old male that is up to date on my vaccines and I have been neutered. I am very intelligent & playful. I love every dog I meet and I get along well with male or female dogs. Currently my best play friend is a 2 year old male Pomeranian who is half my size. I am crate trained and will potty outdoor as well as indoor on a pee pad. I am looking for my forever home where I can get plenty of playtime and attention.
If you are interested in adopting me, please visit our website and fill out an application online at www.familyadditiondogrescue.org.
My adoption fee is $250, and includes two in-home training sessions with our certified dog trainer from “Ahead of the Pack” dog training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quincy, a Charlotte Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
