Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Josie & her husband rescued HENDRIX at a McDonalds parking lot begging for food. They fed him for several days before finally earning his trust and taking him home. He is about 2 years old, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and most importantly, neutered.
HENDRIX is a VERY active dog. He LOVES water & playing with toys. He loves to run and play constantly but not fond of being outside alone. He needs a few days to warm up to his new owners but then he's so much fun to be with. Due to some scars on his face and head, his foster family thinks he may have been a bait dog. Which makes sense of why he's afraid of other dogs barking & loud noises but he's learning that it is ok & he's safe now. His new owner might consider trying a thundershirt or something similar to calm his fears.
HENDRIX is now trained on walking with a harness but does not like collars around his neck. Harness would be his only option. He's learning to be a pet and will need a patient owner. The longer he's in a home environment the more relaxed & comfortable he's becoming.
