Despite a rough patch, Mustang is ready to forgive and forget! He is eager to put one paw in front of the other and move on. Like all his canine pals at Animatch who have been abandoned, he needs a home where he can express his loyalty, devotion and love. These are natural qualities that all dogs have in abundance. No need to teach them to be loyal; no need to lecture them on love. Mustang has a zest for life despite the disadvantages he’s faced thus far. Because of his sketchy past he is aloof and reserved with people; he needs to feel comfortable and trust his human (so far most have let him down) and then he will be a tail-waggin’, happy-go-lucky, fellow. Patience, understanding, and a little time are all that is needed. Since we have no history on Mustang, a home without young children would best suit him. He would benefit from some obedience training and daily exercise is a must. At four years old, he is long past the crazy puppy stage.
