Austin (bs)'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Austin (bs)'s Story...
Austin is the Papillon with pizazz. He is a happy, 7-year-old male with a
beautiful white and black coat (apologize for the clay marks but at the time of
this pic we had 4 straight rain days). He can be a bit shy at first but will
quickly accept and stick to you like glue. He is potty trained and crate
trained although he prefers to sleep in the bed with his foster dad. He gets
really excited for treat time and now has a hearty appetite (thanks to recent
dental work!). Austin's original owner was unaware of his serious dental
disease and let him eat the cats soft food, making things worse. He lost a few
teeth at the dental but no resulting issues. When Austin is happy he prances
around like he is the prettiest Papillon in the world (which of course he is)
and he likes to “dance” with his two front paws in the air to get your
attention. He is a great jumper and would probably like some light agility
exercises. He is very smart and aims to please his owner(s). He also loves to
be petted and likes to nap on soft blankets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Austin (bs), a Washington Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon for sale in Washington, or seeking a Papillon dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon breeders who help with Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
