Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dori is a very sweet and very lucky little girl. She is just a little over a year old and a small girl weighing about 40 lbs. Dori was spotted by one of our volunteers laying on the side of a very busy interstate during rush hour traffic. It was very scary, but our volunteer managed to pull over and run back to the little dog laying just inches from the big wheels of the passing trucks. This little blond dog seemed to be very dazed and she was scooped up and taken immediately to the veterinarian. There was no obvious signs of trauma found and it was surmised that she may have been thrown from a moving vehicle and landed just inches from the traffic. This would have dazed anyone. Since then, she has been named Dori, gotten lots of great care and attention and is doing great. Dori has a very delightful and spirited personality, getting along with everyone she meets. She is very dog friendly and has great times playing with all her foster buddies. Dori loves people and will become very attached to her caregiver. She loves snuggling close and likes being told what a good girl she is. She gets lots of good girl treats and takes them very gently and wags her tail in thanks. Dori would be considered medium energy and we believe her to be a pit bull mix. She is definitely a lover. We are not sure how she is with cats, but can cat test if necessary. Dori has been spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. Dori has very good house manners, is house trained and crate trained. If you would like to learn more about this lucky girl, please complete an online application and indicate Dori in the notes section. If you are looking for a loving and loyal companion, Dori is your girl
