Flora's Story...
Meet Flora! Flora is a beautiful chow mix and has found her way to ARF and is looking for a forever home. Though we may not know her complete history, we do know that Flora is a shy, affectionate girl who will make a great companion. This sweet girl already knows some basic commands and walks like a champion on a leash. She loves people and other dogs, so she wouldnt mind sharing her new home with a canine companion. Flora is equally happy on a walk in the park or just lounging in the shade with her friends. This versatile girl would fit well in any family. She yearns for a yard to play in, a comfy couch to nap on, and most of all, lots of love. Would you be willing to give Flora the home of her dreams? If so, please contact her consultant Rose at 440-823-4614 or One look at her sweet face and youll be hooked!
** The adoption fee helps to cover the general veterinarian check-up, heartworm test, spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, rabies vaccination, worming, flea preventative, and microchip that all dogs adopted through Berea ARF receive prior to going into their new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flora, a Berea Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Berea, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
