Mister's Story...
N/M, 1-2 Years, Shepherd Mix, Approx. 40 lbs.

My name is Mister, but that's MISTER Mister, to you!! (Heh, heh! Just kidding!) My story is somewhat unique. I was surviving in a an abandoned bus out in the middle of nowhere. I had two canine companions (Missy and Maggie) and we kept each other warm throughout these chilly Colorado days and nights. Friendly folks from nearby would come and leave us food and water, but we refused to be caught. Finally, some seasoned Dog Rescuers came with all the necessary equipment (plenty of treats included there!) and used their skills and compassion to safely catch us and bring us to safety. How nice! We're all here at MaxFund, and so grateful for the warmth, regular meals, and the abundance of LOVING! I'm the most bold dog of the three, and warm up VERY quickly!
I would make an excellent doggie companion for any loving home! I'm charming, charismatic, and quite handsome, as you may have noticed. Would you like to meet me? You won't be disappointed! I'm extremely loving and personable! One volunteer keeps insisting on throwing her arms around me and smothering me with smoochies! That's good stuff!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mister, a Denver English Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Denver, or seeking a English Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with English Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
