My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome, red coat, pure bred male looking for love, companionship and a forever home. Likes long walks, playing fetch, chew toys and belly rubs. Not fond of thunderstorms. Don't know about cats since I haven't met one. I am seven years old and had not had a lot of training before coming into foster care, since I was in a kennel for long periods of time. But since I have been with my foster parents they have taught me to sit and give paw(shake) and am learning to stay and come. Yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks. I like humans of all ages and am sweet and loving, but when I get excited I can be big and strong so older children would be best. There is a kennel to sleep in at night or anytime I want some time alone, but the door is left open. I am kenneled for a few hours when the foster go away, since the they aren't sure if I know all the house rules yet. I like to be around people and I like other dogs and am playful but I think I would like an only dog or just a 1 other dog home because I like to be petted and played with. It would be great if my new home has someone who would be home a lot so we could enjoy each others company.
