Meet Kumi! This sweet little girl was born approx May 2013 and is looking for her forever home. When she first came into foster care she was timid and fearful but has since gained some confidence, and her personality is shining through. Though still shy and very cautious, Kumi is a playful girl whose confidence soars when she is around other dogs. She would do best in a home where she can have a canine companion that is confident and playful to bring out the best in her.

Kumi loves to snuggle and has a heart of gold. She is doing very well with house training, and even though she sometimes uses her crate to hide when she's nervous, she is learning that going into it at other times is not so bad, especially when there are treats involved! She also loves cats and is gentle with animals and humans alike. Kumi may not do well in a home with younger children, as it may just be too overwhelming for her. She will need a family that is patient and understanding of her timid tendencies.
