Petey Linguini's Story...
Meet sweet, cuddly, adorable, adoptable Petey Linguini!!!! He was pulled out of the shelter in Miami, FL - unclaimed and unloved. He had a little scar on his muzzle (under his eyes) when he was first pulled out of the shelter, but it has healed nicely. He is being fostered in Miami, enjoying the warm winter we have down here. He is a little bundle of love and energy, waiting patiently for a new chance at life with a family that will adore and dote on him. He is learning his potty manners - working first on crate training. He is good with kids and other dogs. His favorite playmate in his foster home is a 45 pound English Pointer. He gets along with all the dogs he meets, from dogs his size to the biggest dog in the foster home who is 80 pounds. He is curious about kitties, but not aggressive to them. He just wants to play play play. He is a great little pup, at a great age. He is quiet vocal - when he wants a snack or to play, he lets everyone know! Sometimes when he is chasing the the big dogs in the yard, he falls behind and he barks at them to wait for him - he truly is a funny little guy. He will make a family a wonderful little addition. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petey Linguini, a Jacksonville Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
