My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Boss, about a year old, came into our rescue as a stray. He was lucky to catch the attention of one of our southern volunteers who cared for him at her house until he just recently traveled to the northeast. He is now living in a home with 3 young active children and a 5 year old male lab mix. He is great with the kids, appears to be potty trained, does well in the crate, loves to go for walks and does great on a leash, is happy to get tummy rubs and cuddle, but also happy to chase balls in the yard.
He has a great face for sure and is one of those dog that actually smiles. He is listed as lab/pug mix, but there are likely several other breeds in there. Whatever they are make an adorable look. He is doing pretty well with our other dog overall, but they both needed time to figure each other out. He just needs that time, that all dogs do, to adjust to what life is like as a family companion. Given that he will make a great dog for most new. He is about 35 pounds which makes a great size for several types of homes, has been neutered and is ready to find his forever home. Let us know if you think he might be the dog for you.

The Boss is currently fostering in New York State, but with our network of volunteers we can get him to most anywhere in the northeast if we find the right home for him.

We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***
