Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bradley came to Houston from a shelter in Waco. Not quite 1 year of age and already finding himself lost and labeled a stray. Not a good start for this wonderful boy. Bradley is an over-grown puppy who has a long slender body that makes his 32 pounds look thin! He stands a ½ inch over 15, so is not a small guy!
Bradley loves to play with his foster siblings. He is never aggressive and has an easy going personality that allows him to get along with everyone. He really enjoys a game of fetch, but in typical beagle fashion rarely brings the toy back. Then he will surprise you by not only bringing the item back, but will lay it at your feet and sit patiently waiting for it to be thrown again! Bradley is housebroken with the use of a dog door. He will stay in a crate without too much fuss, but he usually has the run of the house and has never gotten into anything. He does love his food so nothing edible would be safe on your counters! Braadley will sit on command, but has a long way to go in his training. An obedience class would be great for this boy.
Bradley does love to chase squirrels and gets really excited when he comes across a rabbit trail in the yard. Bradley does not often bugle when tracking, but he does have a bay. His bay often starts out sounding more like a yappy dog. It is almost like his voice is changing! Bradley would not do well in an apartment.
The worse thing to be said about Bradley is that he really wants to be a lap dog. This boy wants to be draped over your lap or at least as close as he can get when it is time for a nap. He is sweet and loving and will soak up as much love and attention as you can give him. When he is told to go lie on a dog bed, he obeys, but will look at you with those big sad eyes. Bradley will make a fantastic addition to some lucky family. Go on line today to fill out an application to adopt this great boy!
