Poppy is a female Poodle/Maltese mix approximately 4 years of age. She is small, currently weighing about 10 pounds. Poppy has downy soft, fluffy, white curly fur that is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. She has adorable light apricot coloring on her ears and on the tip of her tail. Poppy is a darling, sweet little thing. She is extremely affectionate, pitter pattering around as silent as a mouse. Poppy walks easily on leash and also enjoys being carried. She will hop up in your lap and sit still for hours while you stroke her. She likes to flip over on her back and lay totally still with her legs in the air while you give her a belly rub. She could stay in this position forever. This little baby is an easy keeper and doesn't expect much. She likes treats and can be found snuggled in a blanket with a chew stick on occasion. She is extremely easy to manage and excellent inside the home. Poppy adores people and has an amusing, playful side which is on display from time to time when the mood strikes her. She especially likes playing with soft squeeky toys, prancing around with them in her mouth and acting all silly. Poppy is great with cats. We don't know her past, but Poppy also adores children. She will follow kids around, cuddling up quietly next to them or sit near them, and she will even sleep on the floor outside the children's room (quietly) until invited in. Poppy will do well in a peaceful environment where she can be pampered and snuggled to her heart's content. Poppy is ready for her forever home today!
Poppy’s adoption donation is $375 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Poppy is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Carol and is ready for her forever home.
