Here's what the humans have to say about me:
January 15, 2014, Belle was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. She is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. Belle is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. She will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison. If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.
Belle is a super playful and active Chihuahua/Pug mix. This 3 year old was recently adopted and returned because she was too much for her owner to handle. Belle lived with older kids and no other pets. It's not known whether she would get along with younger kids or pets. She has manners and is house trained. Belle would love an active family that would include her in their activities.
