Dash's Story...
Dash is a great name for this charming fellow. He truly is a dashing guy, with looks, brains, and a lovely personality. Dash is a sweet soul who gets along well with other dogs and cats, but most of all loves to be with his people. Dash is the kind of guy who can go out and play or accompany his people on an energetic walk or run as well as sit on the couch and be a cuddlebug! Dash is very gentle and affectionate, which is a good thing because he is still growing and will be a big dog. In fact, his foster mom jokes that he should have been named Dasher since when he grows up he will no doubt be strong and big enough to pull a sleigh! If you are looking for a beautiful dog who is very smart, very strong, and has a heart of gold, look no further. You have met your man! Dash

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dash, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
