Meet George Clooney, a beautiful very classic looking beagle. George is a sweet boy, is crate-trained and gets along great with cats and dogs. He can be a bit shy and unsure of himself at times since this is his first time living in a real home, so he would do best in a quiet home with older kids. George wants to love, and is grateful for hugs and kisses, and he just needs a family to teach him that life is good. We promise he's more than worth it!

You may not know it, but you might have a BEAGLE to thank for your medicines! Beagles are used for safety testing of human and veterinary medicines for the same reasons that they make good pets; they're small, relatively easy to handle, and gentle-natured. Where does Happy Paws Rescue come into the picture? On a regular basis, research facilities have healthy beagles that they no longer need. That's when they release the beagles to us. We provide foster homes, veterinary care, socialization, and eventually, forever homes for these sweet dogs.
