Maximus's Story...
My name is Max, if your looking for a funny, energetic and very happy big boy, then I may be your new best friend.

My family that I knew my whole life moved and did not take me with them, instead they took me to the shelter.

I got lucky tho! Big Bully Rescue came to the shelter and rescued me. So, now here I am looking for a new life and new family.

I'm a super cool regal 8 yr old Bullmastiff and I do love to play and enjoy going for walks and I love car rides. I know commands too! sit, lay, stay, wait. I am house trained and good with dogs and kids.I am neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated and I also have AKC papers, but who cares about that LOL.

If you are interested in giving me an excellent forever home, and you think you are worthy of my squishy face, please go to the rescue website at and complete the adoption application and email it over for their review and if there is a potential for a match, they will contact you to meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maximus, a Phoenix Bullmastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bullmastiff for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Bullmastiff dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bullmastiff breeders who help with Bullmastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
