Misty's Story...
Misty!

Misty is a bit shy compared to her sister, but she is just as loveable! Misty loves to play outside with her doggy friends and of course her new found love of toys! She is doing very well with crate training and house training.

We believe Misty is around\ 6 months old, so based on this we think she should grow to be about 50lbs.

She is house & crate trained! She loves playing with her foster brothers, and after a long day Misty just wants to curl up on the couch with her people.

Misty will need a family that can provide her with structure, socialization, and stimulation. She has great potential to be a model doggy citizen. Misty would make a great addition to any moderately active family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty, a Wappingers Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Wappingers, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Wappingers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wappingers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wappingers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wappingers paves the way for another one to be saved.
